Parrish Home Inspection, LLC., was formed so that I could combine my love and knowledge of homes with my knack for analytics and investigation, all while providing a valuable asset to home buyers, sellers, and those curious about the condition of their home.
When my wife and I bought our first home, we were excited and scared at the idea of making the largest purchase of our lives to that point. We trusted our real estate agent and opinions of select family members and felt we were making the right choice. After our offer was accepted and we began the loan process, we learned about the home inspection and appraisal requirements. Initially, we were concerned about the idea of spending an additional $350 for an inspection that our real estate agent had written into our offer. But, after crawling around with the inspector on a chilly winter day, discussing necessary repairs and maintenance items, and generally becoming educated about our new home, we realized the inspection was one of the best investments we could have made.
The inspector took his time and educated me on the major systems of our home, pointed out areas where we could make simple improvements, and then made me aware of each item on the inspection report. We were able to request that a few items be repaired and financial concessions made for the items that needed to be repaired or replaced. My wife and I felt confident in our decision to purchase our first home, and the experience was much smoother because of the guidance provided by our home inspector.
I encourage my customers to be present with me during all my inspections and to ask any and all questions. If there’s something I can’t answer on the spot, I’ll find the answer and share it with my customers as soon as possible.
By providing my professional opinion of the home and educating my customers on their purchase, my goal is to give my customers have the same confidence I had when making my first home purchase.
My promise to you, as a customer, is that I will use everything at my disposal to investigate and analyze your home as if it were my own and it were my down payment on the line.
